Abstract

Vehicle crime was a significant problem in the latter part of the twentieth century. The dawning of the twenty-first century has seen some marked improvements in some aspects of vehicle crime, although other aspects of this type of offending persist. In this chapter, we look at what we mean by vehicle crime and its various attributes and examine how these have changed over time.
