Abstract

Graham Jackson is Consultant Forensic Scientist with Advance Forensic Science and Visiting Professor of Forensic Science at the University of Abertay Dundee. He provides advice, support and training in case assessment and interpretation (CAI) to forensic science providers in the UK and abroad. He worked for over 30 years for the Forensic Science Service in a wide range of roles and has been co-author, along with fellow members of a CAI team, of a number of papers on case assessment and interpretation. Several of these CAI papers gained awards from the European Academy of Forensic Sciences and the Forensic Science Society. His most recent contribution is a chapter on ‘Case Assessment and Interpretation (CAI)’ written along with co-author Phil Jones for Encyclopedia of Forensic Science to be published by Wiley in 2009.
