Abstract

It is widely acknowledged by practitioners and theorists that “good” writing and “good” storytelling are the foundations of the reach of transmediality, which itself is gaining increasing prominence in a crowded media landscape. This chapter investigates the affordances of transmediality that specifically support storytelling that is innovative, and how traditional approaches to writing need to be adjusted for this new form.
