Abstract

This chapter begins by considering the cognitive neuropsychology associated with callous-unemotional (CU) traits, including intelligence quotient (IQ), executive functioning, and working memory. In all domains, comparisons are drawn against typically developing children and adolescents, and children with behavioral problems who do not have elevated levels of CU traits. The second part of the chapter focuses on the affective processing abilities associated with elevated CU traits.
