Abstract

Like the Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian columns of ancient Greek temples and stadiums, which were later modified by the Romans to include the Tuscan and Composite styles, human rights can serve as the major pillars of social justice. To be sure, no metaphor is perfect. Yet, while each of the columns has a distinct style, they are similar in that their architectural designs all have structural, cultural, and spiritual significance.
