Abstract

A few years ago in an NFL playoff game, the Kansas City Chiefs were leading the Indianapolis Colts 38–10 early in the third quarter, and at that point very few people gave the Colts a chance to win. But evidently nobody told the Colts (and particularly quarterback Andrew Luck) that they had no chance to win. With an incredible comeback, they went on the beat the Chiefs 45–44 and overcame the second largest deficit in NFL playoff history. This dramatic comeback might be characterized as the Indianapolis Colts being resilient as a team; never giving up and finding a way to overcome adversity.
