The engagement of anthropology with science involves several different kinds of questions, and each is an ongoing field of research and debate. Here, anthropological work is most transparently inter-disciplinary, as an anthropology of science necessarily draws on the nearest science (human biology or physical anthropology), as well as work in the humanities, from areas of history, philosophy, and sociology of science.
