With 25 years of uninterrupted democracy, it does not seem premature to assert that Chile is already among the countries that have a solid political system, although it is currently undergoing the same crisis of confidence and citizen disaffection with politics that pervades all five continents (Altman & Luna, 2007; Contreras & Morales, 2014; Mardones, 2007; Rodriguez-Virgili, López-Escobar, & Tolsá, 2011).
