Abstract

In elaborating this chapter I will be more inclined to provide an outlook of Wilfred Bion’s main theories, rather than to reflect on the series of mental constructs he produced. I hope that in doing so, I will be able to achieve a greater clarity in his communications. Bion was very demanding about avoiding concepts that were so previously handled that he felt they were contaminated or “saturated,” as he preferred, with other misleading meaning.
