Abstract

This chapter presents the outcomes of two research enquiries, separated by starting point and geographical context but linked by broader questions of what it is to be media literate, and how research-informed teaching can combine critical thinking, craft sensibility and entrepreneurial aptitude – both investigations lead to consideration of the media literate ‘mindset’.
