Environmentalism and feminism are two prominent social movements emerging from similar socio-political contexts of democratic development in Thailand. Within both movements, practitioners or advocates share the ideals of equality of rights and social justice, and they struggle against mal-development that brings destructive impacts on the environment and lives of women.
