Abstract
Silicon-based nano- and nano/micro-hierarchical structures synthesized by metal-assisted chemical etching have been widely adopted due to their functional potential in various application fields such as solar energy conversion, energy storage, chemical and biological sensing techniques, interfacial static/dynamic wetting functionalization, and heat/energy transfer techniques.
