Over the course of several decades, researchers in a variety of disciplines have drawn attention to the human and organizational costs of bullying and other forms of aggressive workplace communication. These perspectives have been useful in advancing awareness and knowledge. However, workplace bullying is, at its heart, a communicative phenomenon.
