Abstract

I swore and screamed for hours. They warned me to calm down and be quiet. But I couldn’t. I carried on shouting. Three orderlies took hold of me and forcibly led me down the corridor, with everyone staring. When we got to the restraining room they lifted me onto the bed, and using their full body weight, forced me down into a lying position. I couldn’t breathe. They kept tugging at my arms and legs while holding me down, persistently tightening the restraints, one limb after the other. I lay there spread out on the bed—unable to move my body. I entered another dimension. Don’t know how long I lay there. When they took me out it was already dark outside.
