Abstract

This chapter is an investigation into the gradual adoption of games as digital humanities tools and how remix can be used to enhance their effective utilization in scholarly activities. My aim is to consider how remix can lower barriers to entry by streamlining the game development process, and how remix games—those composed of previously published sampled elements—can be used to support existing practices within digital humanities scholarship, while potentially enabling a range of new ones.
