Abstract

As a corrosive form of political violence, terrorism has been prevalent in many regions of the world and has captured the world’s attention intermittently since the late nineteenth century. Recently, terrorism became more prominent with the September 11, 2001 attacks in the US and the bombings of the Madrid train station in 2004 and London transit in 2005.
