Abstract

The tables in this chapter give data on Russia, on the other countries that were part of the former Soviet Union, on the six formerly Soviet-dominated countries of Eastern Europe, and where possible include some comparators from affluent Western democracies. The data are necessarily selective, but give some indication of the profound socio-economic changes since the end of communism. List of Tables
