Abstract

Successful hospitality professionals of the next generation, not only will understand the impact of their daily decisions on the environment and their clients’ health, but will also take an active role in reducing their CO2 footprint while protecting their clients from chronic diseases. These will partly be the result of the growing consumer demand for transparency, and partly due to the new rules and regulations that will require the hospitality professional to meet industry standards implemented by law and other regulatory bodies.
