Abstract

General Sexual Dysfunction, which is usually called “frigidity,” is the most severe of the female inhibitions. The generally dysfunctional woman derives little, if any, erotic pleasure from sexual stimulation; she is essentially devoid of sexual feelings. On a physiological level, such a patient may show no signs of genital vasocongestion in response to sexual stimulation, or she may respond only partially, with light lubrication, to the mechanical stimulus of the phallus inside her vagina.
