Abstract

The term agri-tourism clearly denotes a relationship between tourism and agriculture. Of course, such a relationship is not something new, nor something inherently specific in this special form of tourism, not least because of agriculture having always been an important backward linkage for tourism services. Our current knowledge of agri-food chains and of the primary sector’s supply side of tourism point to the importance of the multifacet connections between tourism and agriculture in terms of the ways food and drink are being delivered to tourists.
