Abstract

Duck viral hepatitis (DVH) is an acute, rapidly spreading, highly fatal viral disease of young ducklings, 1-28 days of age [1]. The disease is characterized by clinical sign with opisthotonos and lesion of liver hemorrhages. All domestic ducklings are susceptible, with the exception of muscovies [2]. Ducklings under 3 weeks of age are highly susceptible. The disease may cause up to 90% mortality and is of economic importance to all duck-growing farms.
