Abstract

Porcine teschoviruses (PTVs, genus Teschovirus, family Picornaviridae) are nonenveloped RNA viruses that infect swine populations. Complete genome sequence studies defined at least 13 distinct PTV serotypes (from PTV-1 to PTV-13), 1-3 although all of them belong to a single virus species, known as "porcine teschovirus."
