Abstract

Within the field of study of classical physics, we can find the branch concerned with electromagnetic phenomena: electromagnetism. Electromagnetism describes the interaction between electric charges through the concepts of electric and magnetic fields. The formulation of the electromagnetic theory principles has enabled the engineering sciences, such as electricity and electronics, to develop applications related to the treatment of energy and information using electric charges as physical support.
