According to the classification made by International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) [1], porous materials can be divided into three main categories depending on their pore size, that is, the microporous materials with pore size under 2 nm, the mesoporous materials with pore size between 2 and 50 nm, and the macroporous materials with pore size greater than 50 nm. The commonly referred nanoporous materials are mainly included in the mesoporous range. Therefore, in this chapter, the structure of mesoporous materials is mainly discussed.
