Abstract

This chapter provides an evaluation of the technologies developed in the DREAMS project, using three evaluation demonstrators representative of the domains targeted in the project (avionics, wind-power and healthcare as described in Chapter 3). Each demonstrator combines different contributions of the DREAMS project and analyzes the results from different perspectives:

The wind-power demonstrator (see Section 11.1) integrates the building blocks, tools and methods listed in Table 11.1. The analysis is based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with respect to the wind-power specific challenges and objectives to be solved (see Section 3.2).

The safety-critical domain demonstrator (see Section 11.2) integrates the building blocks, tools and methods listed in Table 11.1. The analysis focuses on the temporal interference between safety-critical and non safety critical partitions deployed in different combinations of hardware platforms, Stressing Benchmarks (SBs) and configurations.

The healthcare demonstrator (see Section 11.3) integrates the building blocks, tools and methods listed in Table 11.1. The analysis focuses on the implementation of the NoC, memory / network bandwidth regulation, real-time performance and security performance trade-offs.
