Abstract

Poor compliance to prescribed medication is a common problem that can have a major impact on the success of routine patient care and on the conduct and conclusions of clinical trials. The focus of this entry is on compliance to medication regimens and ways in which to measure the effect of non-compliance on a clinical trial.
