Abstract

Ordered Multiple Class Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) Analysis The receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) is a graphical representation resulting from plotting the proportion of diseased subjects with a positive test result vs. the proportion of healthy subjects with a positive test that result from considering all possible values of a diagnostic test used as a cutoff. This entry provides a detailed definition of a ROC curve and supplies a sample application.
