Abstract

Logistic regression is a model intended for situations in which the dependent variable Υ consists of a binary (yes/no) outcome and the vector of independent variables or covariates x, as in ordinary linear models, may either be continuous, dichotomous, or factors. The aim of this entry is to provide examples of this model to illustrate its application.
