Abstract

Ethnicity may be used to refer to “racial” or “genetic” differences between groups of people. It may be used to refer to behavioral and social differences, such as language, religion, dress, mode of making a living, or kinship patterns. This entry addresses the factors associated with how the results of a clinical study translate across ethnic borders.
