Abstract

Business ecosystems are pretty simple in concept (Moore, 2013). The goal is to get a lot of people to bring their creativity together and accomplish something more important than they can do on their own. Business ecosystems may be disruptive to established systems as they reduce barriers and create new avenues of entry for new players and encourage new people with new ideas, money, tools, and technologies to participate and create. In this context, the objective of enabling an eco-commerce ecosystem is to bring people and organizations together to transform the agriculture system as it is into the system as it ought to be.
