Abstract

Over the past few years organic light emitting diode (OLED) technology has emerged as a major player in the established field of displays. Since the demonstration of efficient light emission from small organic molecules [1] and conjugated polymers [2], built on earlier studies of organic electroluminescence in polymers [3] and small molecules [4], their potential application to displays has been technically compelling.
